Willem Verhappen It's been a while since I've been to London and I'm not sure if I've ever been to the Black Heart, but I love the scene there. Combine that with the awesome tracks on this compilation and you've got my donation. Hopefully I can visit the Black Heart for Dertfest London someday. The Black Heart is a bar/venue in London. It's an integral part of the UK underground heavy music scene and international touring circuit. They are independently owned and operated and are proud to have retained all their staff during the Covid pandemic, because they're a family.
They need to raise £100,000 by the end of March 2021, or they face the
very real prospect of never reopening. We need to keep our grass roots venues going,
That is why New Heavy Sounds and our bands are giving our tracks and all proceeds from this digital compilation to 'The Black Heart' in order to raise funds to keep
the venue going beyond the pandemic.
